Position Purpose:
Provides support in all functional areas of a human resources department for a growing high-tech company, which may include recruitment and staffing, personnel data and records, employee relations, comp and benefits administration, compliance and maintenance of training activities. Performs a variety of tasks.
Key Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assists with administration of human resources policies and programs, and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, benefits, documentation, compensation, and staffing. Makes and implements recommendations for improvements.
· Supports HR Management and VP of HR with enabling the business by providing strong HR response and service, supporting key initiatives, and developing new methods, etc. in response to business needs. Works as a member of a cross-functional team, collaborating to meet requirements and objectives.
· Serves as a single point of contact in a variety of areas. Must be able to: work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results; prioritize work; and handle multiple projects/assignments. Able to evaluate and investigate sometimes complex situations, and make appropriate recommendations for resolution.
· Supports internal and external customer needs/requests. Handles employees’ and managers’ issues, with effective discussion, documentation and response.
· Works closely with Payroll department regarding employee information, etc. Ensures appropriate records are in place, data is accurate and in compliance with internal and external requirements. Maintains supporting HRIS database.
· Assists in coordinating tool training and certification for customers, employees and temporary workers.
· Reconciles invoices, audits charges against systems, prepares regulatory reporting.
· Coordinates company-wide communications and events.

Technical Skills Experience with HRIS/Payroll modules: We use ADP’s HRB, PayXpert, EZLM. Ability to learn processes and new software quickly. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge/Skills/Training Required:
· B.S. Degree in Human Resources or Business. Certain other related fields may be acceptable.
· At least 6 years experience in fast-paced HR department responsible for such tasks as outlined above.
· Semiconductor/High Tech experience a plus.
Other Special Conditions/Requirements:
· Must be fluent in written and verbal English. Secondary language a plus.
· No travel required.
