Sr. Process Engineer - Thin Films
Position Type: Full-Time Exempt

Job Description:
  • Process engineering support for Diffusion/Cleans, ALD, PVD, and CVD for development of a broad range of technologies e.g. MEMS, Memory, MRAM, Bio technology, CMOS, optical etc.
  • Provide engineering ownership of various fab tools
  • Act as a technical project leader for projects of variable

  • Prepare and make presentations to external customers and internal management
  • In-depth knowledge of ALD, PECVD, and LPCVD processes including all phases of process development (from no starting point to high volume, fully developed processes)
  • Fundamental understanding of semiconductor devices and process integration issues
  • Ability to design and perform DOE's for process development and process optimization
  • Working knowledge of SPC and its use in process control
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Hands on approach to process engineering
  • Support multiple process tools and continuously drive operations improvements in reducing cost and maintaining Cp/Cpk
  • Project management skills to manage time and provide support for customers, fab issues, and internal projects
  • Highly motivated and self-confident with the intense desire and drive to "make things happen". 
Knowledge/Skills/Training Required:
  • Minimum MS in engineering with PhD preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or research and development

Pluses:

  • Process integration experience
  • Basic knowledge of other fab process tools and areas (litho, etch, etc). 

Special Physical Requirements or Restrictions: Able to work in semiconductor fab environment: full clean room suit, safety glasses, etc.
